I am a PhD Candidate with a focus on civil-military relations and comparative politics of the Middle East. This work speaks to broad political science themes of state order, regime durability, and the causes of international instability.
My research has been supported by the Fulbright Fellowship, Boren Fellowship, Project on Middle East Political Science, Institute for Middle East Studies, and GWU Political Science Department.
