Prior to my enrollment at George Washington University, I completed my B.A at Rutgers University in both Economics and Political Science, with minors in Classics and History. It was during that time that I recognized my interest in examining economic factors and their impact on the foreign policy decisions of nations historically. In an effort to expand upon my knowledge in this area of interest, I am currently studying the impact of shifts in the structure of an economy, and how that can be viewed as a threat by other nations. In particular, one example of this was the economic reforms of the French Revolution and Britain's fear of their potential positive effect on French international power.
