Qing Deng is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at George Washington University. Her research focuses on environmental politics and the political economy of development. Her ongoing projects examine the use of information disclosure in environmental enforcement and the effects of sanctions on business environmental performance in China. Her work is published in Environmental Politics, Governance, and Regulation & Governance. She received her Ph.D. in political science from Penn State University in 2021.
