Alex Beck is a fourth-year PhD student studying American politics and research methodology, who previously served as the 2018-19 Methods Fellow of the Political Science Department. His research concerns local elections in the United States and their implications for local policy outputs. Alex is a proud Wisconsinite, and holds a B.A. with comprehensive honors in political science and history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
