Professor Hugh L. LeBlanc served as a Professor of Political Science for 35 years at George Washington University. LeBlanc was voted Department Chairman three times and was elected an Outstanding Professor by students. He received his B.A. from Louisiana State University, his M.A. from University of Tennessee, and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. LeBlanc also served in the US Navy at the end of WWII and again in 1952-1955. He passed away on June 7, 2017 in Amelia Island, FL. You can read his obituary here.
