Karan Anavangot is originally from San Jose, California. They have a background of education in political science with an emphasis in international politics and a minor in anthropology. They're currently enrolled in the Master of Art in Political Science on the International Relations track. Their research interests include democratization, democratic decay, Asian politics, and nationalism/populism. They hope to further their education with law school study.
