Ryan Kaufman

Ryan Kaufman is a PhD student at The George Washington University in the Department of Political Science, where his work centers on U.S. defense strategy, emerging technologies, future of warfare, and military effectiveness. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments (CSBA), conducting research on U.S. intelligence operations, unmanned systems, electronic warfare, and survivability. He previously served as a U.S. naval officer, completing multiple deployments to Japan and South Korea and tours at U.S. Strategic Command and the Pentagon. He continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
