Thomas Flanagan is a Ph.D. student at George Washington University, specializing in International Relations. His current research interests include international security, artificial intelligence, and irregular warfare. Prior to his arrival at GW, Thomas served in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator, deploying multiple times around the world. At the completion of his course of study, Thomas will become a Permanent Military Professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.
