Colin Emrich is a fifth-year Ph.D. student studying American politics and quantitative methodology. His research interests focus on American political institutions (primarily Congress). Specifically, he is interested in individual-level strategic calculations made by legislators, and how different institutional arrangements affect the behaviors of these rational actors. Prior to enrolling at The George Washington University, Colin received a B.A. in political science (minoring in economics) from Temple University. Outside of academia, Colin is an avid fan of all things Philadelphia-related.
