Colin Emrich is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate studying American politics. His research focuses on American institutions, particularly state legislatures. He is interested in how institutions affect the policymaking process, influence bicameral dynamics, and structure leadership behavior. This work has been published, or is forthcoming, at The Journal of Legislative Studies and State and Local Government Review.
