Kerin Shilla is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at George Washington University, specializing in International Relations and Comparative Politics. She researches the evolution of international legal institutions, and human rights. Prior to her graduate studies, she worked for the Technology and Human Rights Division at Human Rights Watch and the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Kerin holds an MA in Political Science from George Washington University, and a BA in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from the Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter College.
